RAC’s core mission is to help families create memorable experiences across generations, distances, and interests by providing the best outdoor experiences possible. How do we do this? Simple… family.

RAC has always been a family-owned and operated business for 50 years. Not just in blood, but in spirit as well. The relationships built over multiple generations of our family at RAC have allowed us to create experiences for our guests that they will talk about, share photos from, and want to revisit for years to come. We are the largest KOA franchisee and own and operate 14 properties, in 12 states serving over 1.3 million guests per year.

A family vacation is an essential, stressfully peaceful adventure. The fact that a family trusts us with their time, money, and memories is something that we take very seriously and work tirelessly to provide them with the experiences, amenities, and facilities that allow them to focus on the fun. Our commitment to the outdoors is reflected not only in our properties but in our headquarters – located in the heart of the Black Hills National Forest just beneath the tallest peak east of the Rocky Mountains. Hikes, climbs, ATV adventures, horseback rides, or relaxing scenic drives all start at RAC HQ.
